My name is Pam and I've been running The Quilt Room since 1981, over 27 years! I first started the shop above my husband's bookshop in Dorking, hence the name The Quilt Room. Our first few bolts were varying shades of brown but over the years I'm pleased to say that we now proudly stock an eclectic range of hundreds of fabrics from all different shades, colourways and ranges.
I'm very fortuanate in that the girls that work at The Quilt Room are extremely loyal and hardworking and between them have clocked up over 150 years of service! My daughter Nicky joined the team four years and and she now runs it alongside me.
As well as a shop we have an extensive mail order department and website which continues to grow each year. We also provide a computerised longarm quilting service.
