Many of our shop customers will remember Gemma who worked as our Saturday girl for many years. We hated to lose her but off she went travelling and this year she started university. Her mum Chris works at the mail order department and alongside Nicky runs the longarm quilting service.
Before leaving for university, Gemma chose some very stylish fabric (she is great with colour) and Chris made this stunning quilt for her. The quilt is bright, vibrant and the quilting is bold and works fantastically. Here is Chris trimming the quilt 
just after the quilting had been finished and it came off the machine.
What a great idea to make a quilt for someone off starting uni - a little bit of home comfort!
